Glamour  has always been an important
part of  modeling and throughout the
decades, certain looks and styles
have prevailed.
A model who can invoke the appropriate
mood or look of a time and place is more
marketable than one who can not.
So in this competition the challenge was in
1) Understanding the fashions and looks of
a particular period of time and
2) Understanding the appropriate props,
expressions and posing to complete the
look and genre.

Specialty guest judges from the fashion
design department of The Art Institute, as
well as the world of professional &
commercial modeling helped determine
which models most successfully completed
the challenge .

While most of the models went for a 1950's
to 1960's look, all in all, the models had
a great time and produced some
good period shots.
